The applicant, Sagar Enterprises, had been operating a franchise of Firstcry under the name “Kids Kingdom”, since 2015 at Nirmal Heights, Nandi Stop, Ausa Road. Within a short span of 5 years, it has achieved sales of more than Rs. 120 lacs. All the sales targets has been achieved. With hard efforts and innovative marketing strategies of last 5 years, applicant is able to bring a sharp change in mindset of parents to prefer toys, clothings etc. of reputed brands to ensure comfort, health and hygiene for new born babies and mothers. With growing awareness among parents, there is ever increasing demand for products of firstcry. Recently, company has conducted a survey and has planned to start another stores at the heart of city to cater to need of customers. M/s. Sagar Enterprise, since inception, has surpassed sales targets of the company year on year. Further, it has already acquired experience of 5 years and has a deep insight into test and preferences of customers and is well aware of business policies of the company. Hence, the new franchise has been allotted to M/s. Sagar Enterprise.
A new branch under the same banner “Kids Kingdom” will be set up at a very prominent and central location, viz. Shop o. 6/7, Rathi’s Town Center, Beside HDFC Bank, Opp Ambedkar Townhall, Latur. The place has been acquired on rental basis.
First Cry provides all necessary support to franchise in form of staff training, operational policies, marketing, software, regular messaging to customers regarding new product arrivals and discounts or offers, online information about availability of store at various locations etc. Firstcry has its own internal parameters about stocks to be maintained by franchise. Standard billing software is provided to franchise and by “Auto Replenish System” (ARS), products are supplied to franchise so as to ensure that stock of all brands, varieties, age groups, product category are maintained as per standard parameters. It also provides logistic support to franchise to ensure timely supply.
